Supported Projects - South Africa

A multi organization venture to establish 12 bicycles shops between 2024 and 2027 in South Africa. Over the 3 years, containers will be allocated to one of 12 communities across 4 provinces and supported by local Rotary Clubs. Containers will be refurbished into bike shops and training in bike mechanics will be provided to a small team from the communities to run the shops. This initiative is a collaboration between Rotary Club of Empangeni, SA, Rotary Carol Creek, MD, USA, and supported with bicycle supply from Bicycles for Humanity Calgary, Perth, and Charleston.
